Rishi Kapoor Dies At The Age Of 67

30th April, Thursday, the legendary famous actor Rishi Kapoor died at the age of 67, in a hospital named Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital in Mumbai. He was admitted to the hospital on 29th April. Rishi Kapoor was diagnosed with bone marrow cancer in September 2018, and was taking treatment in New York.

Randhir Kapoor, his brother, confirmed that he was in critical condition as his cancer relapsed and was rushed to the hospital last night. He took his last breathe on the very next day.

Rishi Kapoor was born to Raj Kapoor and Krishna Kapoor in September of 1952, and started his journey in Bollywood at the age of 18 in 1970, acting in the film named Mera Naam Joker. Later, in 1973 he first got the lead role with opposite Dimple Kapadia which was a great hit among youngsters. He was married to Neetu Singh, who was also an actor in the same industry, and is survived by son Rabir Kapoor and daughter Riddhima Kapoor along with Neetu.

The Body was the last film he worked in, which was released in December 2019. Some of his memorable works include, 102 Not Out, Kapoor & Sons, Delhi-6, Namastey London, Fanaa, Bol Radha Bol, Naseeb Apna Apna, Amar Akbar Anthony, Sargam, Khel Khel Mein, Bobby and many more.
