Flax Seed proved to be beneficial for primary and secondary heart disease. Flax seed contains Omega-3 fatty acids and fiber which helps to make heart healthy. Flax seed can be taken by mixing with yogurt, cereal, salad or by simply drinking with regular water.
6. Turmeric
In many studies, turmeric proved to be very much helpful for the heart to protect it from various metabolic conditions which leads to development of heart diseases. Turmeric powder can be sprinkled over scrambled egg, vegetables, soup or it even be blended with smoothie. Proper amount should be added to avoid the bitter taste of turmeric.
